Upon
arrival at the Hacienda, typically dressed horse-riders
in their riding habits and Flamenco-dressed girls
will give us a warm welcome and hand over carnations
to the Ladies. A Spanish “Coro Rociero”
is singing traditional love songs. Spanish appetisers
such as Iberian ham, Manchego cheese or tortilla will
be served, accompanied by local drinks. As an additional
attraction we recommend to organise a “Jamonero”,
an authentic Spanish ham-cutter in traditional clothes,
and a “Venenciador”, a Sherry pourer –
these traditions are still alive and well worth to
be shown!
Let’s go to the bullring! Guests will see an
Andalusian horse show called “Doma Vaquera”.
This show takes 30 minutes and gives an astonishing
impression of the variety and the potential of this
important tradition in Spain. Then the catering will
serve the Andalusian dinner in the main Cortijo of
the beautiful Hacienda. During dinner, we recommend
a classical guitar duo for background music, and when
the coffee is already served, the highlight of the
evening will start: A whirling, high-class Flamenco
show will demonstrate all you have to see of this
important cultural heritage from the gypsies out of
the 17th century. Enjoy it! |
