Royal Casino in Alicante
Back at the amazing Royal Casino of Alicante, one of our favourite venues in all of Spain.
The Casino is a historic building dating from the 19th century. It is located right in the city centre of Alicante, situated right on the Sea Promenade of Alicante close to the most important hotels in town and opposite the city’s important harbour. It disposes of different rooms of different sizes, varying from 20 to 250 people which enables the Casino to celebrate different types of events, such as presentations, weddings, gala dinners, etc.
Since 2017, and after a long and costly investment in refurbishing the entire building, it is open as “Casino Gourmet Alicante” which is a new concept of restauration, with 15 different bars spread all over the builiding that serve different types of foods and drinks: sushi, mexican, burgers, tapas, paella, coctelería etc. – the private rooms on the first floor nonetheless can still be hired for private functions, and the historic main room “Salón Imperial” is a real highlight in Alicante – not only the room itself: it additionally gives direct access to the fabulous terrace from where guests may enjoy brilliant views over the “Esplanada” and the harbour; the most privileged setting for a Cocktail Reception in this city!
